Welcome to Klamath Falls, Oregon, the largest city in Klamath County. Located on the southern shores of Upper Klamath Lake, Klamath Falls offers a wide spectrum of opportunities. Klamath Falls City Schools is made up of nine schools which include four elementary schools from Pre-K through grade 5, one middle school including grades 6 through 8 and three high schools for grades 9 through 12. The district also has one alternative high school and a home learning academy for grades 1-12. In addition, the district has an early childhood development center and an early childhood intervention program.
The district has a robust partnership with colleges and businesses alike. We believe the collaborative culture that we have fostered is key to our success. This means all at Klamath Falls City Schools work together for the common goal of student growth. This has been said many times but it bears repeating: Schools cannot accomplish their mission alone. They need the help and support of students, parents, and the community to bring about maximum success. Working together, the district focuses on:
School Safety - creating a safe environment for students to learn and grow
Attendance - focusing on reducing the number of absences so children learn every day
College Credit - high school students have the opportunity to earn dual credit for high school and college
Career Pathways - designing high school courses of studies in college partnership to enable a student to enter the work-force or continuing the path in college
Community Partnerships - broadening educational resources and opportunities for our students
The Klamath Falls City Schools prides itself on having professional, caring, and dedicated staff throughout the district. Our teachers, support staff, and administrators work together to ensure that every child can reach their full potential. We are constantly striving to educate our students to become intellectually active adults, to inspire them to reach individual excellence, and to challenge them to become responsible members of society.
