The third time was the charm for Pelican students seeing up, close and personal Native American culture at its school.
Snow closures and other delays postponed a school-wide Pelican Elementary School assembly but finally hosted its Native Cultural Assembly this past Wednesday.
Pelican staff and students were visited by The Klamath Tribes and learned about Native American culture.
Hannah Schroeder from The Klamath Tribes helped put together the event and showcased various Native American culture dances, which included showing Pelican students steps to a dance.
