We are excited to announce that the 21st CCLC After School Program has partnered
with the Klamath Falls YMCA to provide sports for Klamath Falls City School students in

Parents can register their students for sports at the YMCA, the registration cost will be
covered by 21st CCLC. Families do not need to be members of the YMCA to participate
in these activities, students are only required to attend a Klamath Falls City School and
register for the 21st CCLC After School Program.
If you would like your student(s) to participate please fill out the online application here.

Get ready, get set, get STEM!
We are excited to announce a learning opportunity that fourth grade students will not want to miss out
on! Thanks to a generous grant from the New York Hall of Science, ScienceWorks and Klamath Falls
elementary schools have partnered together again to provide students with a second session of their
STEM Maker program.
ScienceWorks will share their vision, “To be a champion of science—inspiring curiosity, wonder, and
exploration through engaging and interactive experiences” with all students participating in the
program. Throughout the ScienceWorks sessions students will participate in hands-on projects exploring
creative problem solving, the engineering design process, and learning to have a 'Maker Mindset' with
circuitry projects for six weeks. Students will flex their creative muscles and have fun learning new skills
that will enhance their understanding of math and science. This free program is available to students in
fourth and fifth grades.
Due to popular demand, a second session for 4th & 5th grade students will be held 4/26-6/3.
