We are looking for Juniors and Seniors that would like to be mentors for the Point Break Assembly we are having October 18-19.  Please sign up with Mrs. Yazzie if you are interested.

Seniors:  Herff Jones will be here on October 17th during lunch for you to pick up your graduation order.  If you missed the senior meeting, please pick up your order packet from the counseling office.  Call 1-800-442-4696 with any questions.

Students: The school district has a strict policy on carrying and administering your own medications. If you are carrying medications, you must have a permission form on file from your parent/guardian and the nurse or a school administrator. If you are carrying medications and DO NOT have a permission form on file, you could be subject to disciplinary action. You are expected to follow the rules on the permission form. You may pick up a form in the health office, main office, or the school district web page for your parent to sign.  Please see the school nurse if you have questions.

The Wordplay Writing Club will meet Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. in Mrs. Pick's room 341 to get together and  discuss your writing, practice new techniques, and share your ideas. All are welcome!

Reminder for Juniors who signed up for the PSAT:  The test will take place on Wednesday, October 16th at 9 am. Please show up by 8:30 to the Aux. gym. You must pay $16.00 to the bookkeeper, Mrs. Howard by Monday October 14th and will not be allowed to test if you haven't paid. If you cannot pay and receive free or reduced lunch, you can qualify for a fee waiver and simply need to see Mrs. Pierce by Monday October 14th. 

Attention Juniors and Seniors, there will be a visit to Kingsley Field on Oct. 22nd for a Military expo with recruiters and a chance to see a variety of career fields at the base.  Sign up by Friday Oct. 11th in the counseling office.

Today is the deadline to sign up and return your permission slip in order to attend the hands on trades fair with the opportunity to learn about different career fields. You must be passing all classes to attend. See Mrs. Pierce for details.  

Reminder:  The Bookkeeping Office is closed Friday. Please take care of any needs by Thursday 3:00 p.m. Thank you!

No Excuses!!! After School FREE Tutoring for Math, Science and English is now ALL in Mrs. Marshall's room #114!!

Seniors, there will be an overnight campus tour trip to Portland State University, Linfield College, Oregon State University, and University of Oregon on November 12th and 13th. If you are interested, please sign up in the counseling center today. We will only be taking 48 students. Students who sign up will need to be passing all of their classes, have good attendance, and no referrals. Students who do attend will need to coordinate with their teachers in advance to collect assignments for these two dates. If you have questions, please see Mr. Salas.

Students: Don't forget to bring clothing for the donation boxes located throughout the school. There is one next to room 228 by the display case.
