Klamath Union Pelican Hats are still available!  Get yours for only $15 today in the bookkeeping office. They would make excellent Christmas gifts!

Teachers and students! Who's ready for the first annual Lip Sync Contest?  Get your songs ready and submit them with a $5 entry fee to Mrs. Stratton by Thursday, November 15th.  Songs must be school appropriate, and there will be monetary rewards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.  Contest will take place at Mills auditorium on December 7th (which means a month to plan everything).  After submissions are in, there will be an information meeting (to be announced). Good luck everyone!

Seniors: KU is hosting another FAFSA/ORSAA workshop scheduled for next Thursday, November 15th at 6:00 p.m. in the KU Media Center. A flyer will be available in English classes with what you can do now and what you need to bring with you. Both parents and students have important parts to complete.  We have plenty of computers for parents to use to complete FAFSA forms. These are required to receive financial aid to attend community colleges and universities. Please plan to attend.

OIT will visit tomorrow at lunch.  They will be in 2nd floor College and Career room and snacks, treats, and Dutch Bros. gift card drawing provided.

Girls' Basketball will be having open gym from 3:30-4:30 today and tomorrow this week in Pel Court.  Tryouts are next week starting on Monday (Veteran's Day).  Time TBD.  Make sure if interested to see Mrs. Ellis to get cleared.

Students, please stay out of the gross and smelly canal areas and banks surrounding the canal winding around the KU campus. There is no reason, at any time, that students should be hanging out in these areas.  This includes the railroad tracks, and Linkville Cemetery.

Mrs. Kramer invites any students interested in starting a book club to come to a brainstorming meeting in the Library next Tuesday during lunch.  We will talk about potential titles to consider and how we'd like the book club to work.  The more the merrier!

After-school Tutoring is available for free Monday - Friday from 3:15 - 5:00 pm in the Media Center.  Tutoring is available for math and science, as well as other areas to help you with homework if you need extra help.  Teachers are also available directly after school dismissal.  Make it a priority to get the extra help available to you if you are falling behind in a course or need extra help understanding something in one of your classes.

During lunch today, DECA will be playing the TV show, "The Office" in Mr. Ellis' room! Please come, it is a great opportunity to hang-out with your friends and watch a great show! Root Beer Floats will be provided!

Seniors: You can find information on the following items: scholarships, transcript request forms, SAT/ACT, Oregon Student Access Commission (OSAC), Military Recruiters and much more by going to Klamath Falls City Schools website, then choose Klamath Union under schools and finally click on Counseling Office.
