April 8 2020 Update: Closure Through End of Year
more April 8, 2020 Dear KFCS Families, Today Governor Brown extended the closure of Oregon public schools through the end of the 2019-2020 school year. The announcement is not surprising (districts were told March 30 to start preparing distance-learning teaching plans), but it is unwelcome news to teachers and students who miss seeing one another, and it is especially disheartening to seniors, who were excited to complete their final term. Please know that an amazing team of educators is hard at work to make distance learning accessible and meaningful for all students and to ensure that seniors will graduate.
